Cannero Riviera is the seat of the Italian Camellia Association, which organised every spring a comprehensive exhibition, until the Pro Cannero recently took over this task.
Fine hotels and restaurants are to be found on the promenade along the lake.
The Hapimag has in Cannero an attractive residence centre, with its own boat harbour.

One can also find:

three sport facilities: tennis, football/handball, volleyball/basketball/roller skates/skateboards
a rowing club
Many  possibilities for mountain hiking with well marked paths and breathtaking views
a newly built floating harbour for sailing and motor boats.

Very charming is the small fresco square, with frescoes of the most important events in Cannero’s history, old houses, balconies, simply a living theatre scene.
Also the cult places are quite interesting:

the St. George parish church in Cannero, with underneath a copy of the Lourdes grotto
the St. Roc’s oratorio
the small chapels on the mountain paths
the St. Lucy’s oratorio in Piancassone, with a valuable wood sculpture of the Carmel Madonna
the oratories of St. Anthony in Cassino, St. John in Donego and St. Eurosia in Ponte
the beautiful St. Bernhard church in Oggiogno.
