Traditional instruments for fishing in the lake, for farm activities and for iron and wood handicraft are shown with clear explanations. There are documents about the brushes factory “Verbania”, an ancient farmers kitchen rebuilding and witness of the past community life (documents and pictures).
The ethnographic and brushes Museum in Cannero Riviera has recently taken part in the Mu.Vi. (Museo con Vista, Museum with a view) project. Alto Verbano and Strona and Basso Toce Mountains Communities, helped by CRT institution, decided to create a network and to turn their small local museums and their historical, artistical and naturalistic patrimony to better account, cooperating with scientifically qualified partners such as Museo del Paesaggio in Verbania and Ecomuseo del Lago d’Orta e Mottarone.
